Wonderful Stay Near Historic Landmarks

The room was clean. it included a double-sized shower cubicle. It had both a rainforest showerhead and a handheld option. Breakfast included pastries, cereals, fruit, yogurts, toast, meats, cheeses, juice, tea, and coffee. I found the option to order hot food from the cafe across the courtyard to be very convenient (I especially liked the pastries).

Some of the decor looked a little tired. I noticed a few areas had peeling wallpaper. I hope this gets addressed soon.

The staff were friendly. they provided extra coffee and milk for the room promptly upon request. The team was helpful and readily available, they provided excellent support throughout my stay.

The hotel offered a bedroom with a high bed, an en suite bathroom, a walk-in wardrobe, and a separate lounge area. A TV was available in both the bedroom and the lounge. It had a great location close to landmarks.

Charming Stay Near the Castle

I observed the ground floor decor and it looks like it will be expanded throughout the hotel. I hope to return to see its completion! The staff was really lovely. The designer stood out! The TV offered many services, I could log into streaming accounts after my evenings out.

The old windows let in noise from the pub across the street. This noise continued past midnight and made sleeping difficult. The bar was closed , reducing available amenities.

The continental breakfast included fresh croissants, ham, and cheese alongside a selection of cereals. I did notice the coffee flask needed refilling on occasion, requiring some waiting. It was generally adequate though.

The staff were helpful. My room included a four-poster queen-sized bed, a living room, and a modern bathroom. The bathroom featured a freestanding bath and a wonderful shower. I really liked it. The building matched its 1940s style. The breakfast offered a good selection of food. I enjoyed the continental options. I also appreciated the easy access to the castle and cathedral. I asked for extra coffee, and it was provided quickly. The hotel offered great value for the location.

I noticed peeling paint on the window frames. It could use refreshing. The windows also did not open easily.

the breakfast was allegedly continental. i found it basic. i wouldn't have expected that for the price i paid. also, the corridor up to my room had a rather off-putting smell. a bit of decorating would fix that easily i hope.

I found parking easy near the hotel. I was pleased with the bathroom, it has a good size and a large powerful shower.
